Robotics: a quadruped "creepy" but polite
In this new video released , February 14, Boston Dynamics shows how SpotMini, one of its quadruped robots, is able to grab a handle to open a door, and hold it to let a congener.
The video is far from the most impressive of the company, accustomed to flashes and great feats - in November, his biped robot Atlas made a back flip. But the staging of this four-legged machine, which could evoke a large dog, endowed instead of the head of a long member able to open doors, seems disturbing.
